If your blanket is too heavy for your washer or made with delicate materials like natural fibers or glass beads, hand washing is a safer alternative. Amenify suggests filling a bathtub or large basin with lukewarm water and gentle detergent, fully submerging the blanket, and letting it soak for 15–30 minutes. Agitate gently with your hands, then rinse thoroughly. Carefully press out the water — don’t wring — and lay it flat to air dry.
